A cultural tour of the places of residence of modern nomads. Kazakh and Kyrgyz are two kindred nations, with almost identical cultures and languages, and Kyrgyz and Kazakh are the main nomads of Central Asia. Modern nomads no longer live in yurts, however, but they honor and respect their traditions, integrating them into modern life. You will find an unusual contrast of modernity and antiquity, nature in its original form and populated cities, Soviet architecture and skyscrapers.

Day 1. Almaty
Arrival to Almaty, transfer to hotel. After a short rest, we will start our program. Almaty is the former capital of Kazakhstan and is still its largest city.  Being a financial and cultural center of Central Asia, Almaty boasts moderate sized tourist and expatriate communities. We will visit the Park of Heroes 28-Panfilovtsev, that located in the heart of the city. This park is the memorial of glory and eternal memory lane with fire established in memory of those who defended with great courage and honor of the WWII years. Continue the journey to the orthodox Zenkov Cathedral, which considered as the most interesting architectural monument in Almaty. This wooden building, towering at a height 56m, was built without using any nails. Transfer to Medeo the highest mountainous sport complex and the largest mountain skating rink in the world. After lunch, visit Central Mosque and the Golden room in the central historical Museum. Magnificent exhibits of a big collection of Kazak National tools and the history of jeweler art of Kazakhstan can be found. Next, visit Republic Square - the largest open public space in the city. A tall obelisk rising up from street level is the Independence Monument. Lastly, conclude the day in the “Sunkar” Falcon farm and nursery, also called ‘conservatory for the wild birds’ native to the region. Enjoy the Golden Eagles, Falcon and other wild birds show, whereby they are trained to hunt at the farm.

Day 2. Almaty – State National Natural Park Charyn Canyon
Early morning after breakfast, drive to the State National Natural Park Charyn, which is 200km from Almaty. Charyn Canyon is considered to be the largest canyon in the world after the famous Colorado one in America. It is also an amazing creation of nature that exists for millions of years, picturesque and very diverse in geomorphologic aspects. The height of steep mountainsides reaches 150-300m. Numerous ravines and gullies make dense rambling net. Wind and water created stunning "Castles Valley". The length of it is more than 2km, the width 20-80m. All along the valley you are surrounded by towers of fantastical forms, built of sedimentary. Their age is about 12 million years. All this time the nature was creating these architectural wonders, without haste was building the majestic castles. Overnight in Almaty.

Day 3. Almaty – Bishkek
After breakfast, visit the most beautiful gorges of the Trans-lli Alatau, Issyk Gorge, which lies along the Kuldja tract where hundreds of years ago the trade caravans travelled. On the way get to learn more about the nature and history of this region and see the burial mounds of Saka Period, where the famous “Golden Man” was found, which has become the state symbol of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Continue your journey to an altitude of 1756 meters above sea level, to the beautiful Mountain Lake Issyk, located in the valley with the same name. The lake was formed about 10,000 years ago due to colossal landslide, resulted in the formation of the natural dam of 300 meters in height. After lunch, transfer to the airport for your flight to Bishkek. Overnight in Bishkek.

Day 4. Bishkek
After breakfast, visit the Pobeda Square (Victory Square). Next visit Ala-Too Square - it is the central square in Bishkek. Continue to the National Arts Museum and the National Philharmonic Square. No tour is complete without visiting the Asian Bazaar. You will be able to take many dynamic photos of the bustling local life. Afternoon leisure time.

Day 5. Bishkek – Ala-Archa National Nature Park
This morning, take a visit to Ala-Archa National Park. At the Soviet time, only V.I.P has the permission to go for a walk there. To get a panoramic view of the gorge, you might want to start a short hiking tour.

Day 6. Bishkek – Issyk-Kul
In the morning, we will be transferred to Issyk-Kul Lake, surrounded by the celestial mountains. It’s the second largest alpine lake in the world (1608 m. above sea level). The lake is called "the pearl of Central Asia". Due to the salty water, Lake Issyk-Kul possesses curative qualities. On route to the lake you will visit Burana Tower (an 11th century minaret) and an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors). You will get to enjoy a traditional lunch and then we’ll make our trip to the lake. Dinner and night in hotel by the Lake.

Day 7. Issyk-Kul – Bishkek
In the first half of the day, you will have free time to enjoy the beauty of the lake. After lunch, we will visit a place where you will see ancient pictures on stones! They called petroglyphs. These petroglyphs were made more than 2 000 years ago by shamans. All these stones are still at the same place as they were at that time. You can see a panorama view of the Issyk-Kul Lake from this place – people were thinking that it was the middle of the world. After an excursion, you will visit a museum in Cholpon Ata. There are many attractive things from the Kyrgyz history, handicraft, music instruments and many other interesting artifacts. Afterwards we will drive to Bishkek city.

Day 8. Bishkek – Nur-Sultan – Borovoe
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Nur-Sultan. After lunch, transfer to Borovoe National Nature Park by coach. Upon arrival, check in the hotel by the lake near the National Park.

Day 9. Borovoe – Nur-Sultan
After a hearty breakfast, experience an unusual rejuvenating microclimate and be amazed by a masterpiece of imagination of the nature stone sculpture, a natural Granite throne of the great Khan. It is said that if one were to bypass clockwise round the stone sculpture, their wishes will come true. After that, head to the legendary Borovoe National Nature Park where every rock here has its own legend. Discover the shining expanse of Blue Bay, Lake Borovoe, which bears a mysterious rock named Zhumbaktas (Sphinx) Rock. Looking at the rock from different sides, one can see a profile of a young girl turning into the image of an old woman. Not far away from Zhumbaktas Rock, look out for a remarkable cliff – Okzhetpes, famous for its numerous legends and myths. Legend has it that the army of Ablai Khan took an Oirat princess captive and forced her to marry a Kazakh warrior. She fell deeply in love with one warrior but the others were jealous. Therefore, she said she would marry the man who could shoot to the top of a rock outcrop near the lake. Find out the rest of the interesting story behind about this unique piece of nature. Afternoon drive back to Nur-Sultan. Overnight in Nur-Sultan.

Day 10. Nur-Sultan
This morning, get acquainted with the young capital of Kazakhstan – Nur-Sultan (Astana). Striking in both its power and the scale of its constructions, be amazed by the futuristic design of the architectures. First, discover the Museum of First President. Then, visit the symbolic and trademark icon of Nur-Sultan, the “Baiterek” monument. From here, one can see much of the stunning bird’s eye view of the city where it won the hearts of all. Continue your journey to the Temple of Peace and Accord - a pyramidal building built by a prominent British architect, Norman Foster. After which, proceed to the President Centre of Culture. Our final stop is the ethno park “Map of Kazakhstan – Atameken”, representing a unique outdoor museum. Here, get the full view of the country and familiarize yourself with the architecture, landscape and history of Kazakhstan.

Day 11. Nur-Sultan
After breakfast transfer to airport.
